SOBRE NOSOTRAS
Nosotras somos estudiantes de la carrera de pedagogía en inglés de la Universidad de Playa Ancha en Valparaíso, Chile.
Aparte de ser compañeras de universidad, somos amigas cercanas y nos consideramos personas positivas con un interés potente en aprender cosas nuevas, también compartimos intereses similares, como el amor por los idiomas, especialmente el inglés, el cuidado y respeto hacia los animales, el feminismo y la justicia social.
Estamos orgullosas del significado que conlleva ser un profesor y de poder promover un aprendizaje significativo, que a su vez sea entretenido y contextualizado para nuestros estudiantes. Es por eso que seleccionamos la mitología Chilena, ya que consideramos que es bastante abundante, en especial en ciertas áreas geográficas. Es por este motivo que hemos realizado una selección de mitos y leyendas más conocidos según su ubicación en la zona norte, centro y sur.
Nuestro objetivo es alcanzar los intereses de los educandos para despertar su motivación hacia su proceso de aprendizaje a través del uso de herramientas relacionadas con las TIC y su cultura.
ABOUT US
We are students of the English pedagogy program at the University of Playa Ancha in the city of Valparaiso, Chile.
Apart from being classmates, we are close friends that consider themselves positive and eager to learn. In addition, we share many similar interests, such as our love for languages, especially English, the caring for animals, feminism and social justice.
We are proud of what it means to be a teacher and to promote an entertaining and significant learning, which at the same time is contextualized for our students. This is the reason behind we selected the Chilean mythology, since it is considered to be abundant, specially in some specific geographic areas. As a result, we have chosen the most known myths and legends according to their location, such as the Northern, Central and Southern area.
The aim is to reach students' interest to awake their motivation towards their learning process through the use of ICT tools and their culture.
